For this week I picked to do nature. It was sunny for a few days and I thought it would be a great opportunity to take some pictures around the house of some flowers in the diffrent gardens we have. I was really happy with the way they turned out and had a hard time picking my "best" one! I thought it was really cool how something so simple can look so cool in the right settings! And as time goes on I can really see the difference in my pictures. I hope you enjoy looking! The is a slideshow of some of my favorite pictures from the past week.

Gimp car editing

This week we learned how to use more detailed things in gimp like how to get rid of a background! at times this was hard but you learn from doing wrong. By doing this I learned how the small touches on little things really do make a big difference. An example of this is tinting the widow in a car, BIG difference. As you might notice everything is not perfect but some things you cant undo! And dont forget to ZOOM when you are doing detail!

Animal
In this weeks assignment I chose to do Animals. I went and took pictures from my dogs first birthday party with his mom, brother, and sister. In addition to the dogs I took recent pictures of horses that I took. The best picture that I took was of the three pups, Hemi (orange) Remington(yellow) and Bear (Green)swimming in the pond.

Composition
In this assignment we learned the basic skill of our camera. It wasn't the biggest or most detailed assignment but a great one to start with. We looked for the basic characteristics of photography. This assignment was a great way of learning color, space, framing, balance, texture, depth of field, lines, perspective,symmetry, pattern, and the rule of thirds.
Balance="Trash"
Space="Red bull can"
Rule of thirds="Recycle box"
Perspective="Lockers"
Lines="Step"
Pattern="Recycle Coke"
Symmetry="Corner Locker"
Color="Sun"
Framing="Sad Katie"
Texture="Rocks outside"
Depth of field="Books"
I learned some of the settings that the camera has to offer. In addition we learned about color, space, framing, perspective, balance, texture, depth of field, lines, symmetry, pattern, and the rule of thirds.
